The health status of our flocks:

• MV accredited
• Scrapie monitored

Scrapie monitoring and resistance

Since the inception of the scrapie monitoring scheme Dutch Suffolk flocks have been in the scheme, achieving full scrapie resistance status for the past 18 years.
This is yet another area where the Dutch Suffolks achieves the high health status which continues to be required within the global sheep breeding market.
As scrapie monitoring and resistance are no longer priorities in the sheep industry many flocks have fallen away from the monitoring scheme. If you are seeking to import by choosing Dutch Elite Suffolks you will have the peace of mind that our sheep meet the standards required by your authorities.
